My experience at Guild
I enjoy being involved with different aspects of the company. Not only do I get to deal with sales and support, but I’m also able to bring my own experience as an end-user into current discussions to drive product and service improvements.
After being a Community Pharmacist for over 10 years and seeing over 200 patients on the daily, it’s been a refreshing change to interact with a smaller audience daily and work in an “office” environment. I’m grateful that it’s within an industry where I am still able to interact with my professional network and pharmacy colleagues.
Everyone at Guild has been extremely welcoming. The culture at Guild is very team orientated. Everyone works together to achieve the goal. It doesn’t feel like there are different levels, everyone is important and can contribute.
Outside of work...
Soccer would be my number one hobby and passion. I enjoy playing (although the ageing body doesn’t reciprocate) and sitting back to watch it when I want to unwind. I’m a big supporter of the Arsenal Football Club and being able to see a live game in London in 2016 was a dream come true.
Before kids took control of our lives, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed playing a board game called Settlers of Catan (Cities and Knights!). We even tried our luck and flew to Sydney to compete in the Nationals.
Creating my family would be the one thing I’m most proud of. Marrying my wife and watching my two little kids grow has been a joy that I can’t describe.
A fun fact about me is I can’t cross my legs (not since I started high school and sitting on the floor ceased).
