Meridian Lawyers appoints two leading insurance lawyers to its Principal Group
National law firm Meridian Lawyers welcomes Principals Andrew Gorman and Scott Kennedy to its insurance team.
Principal Andrew Gorman, an accomplished and distinguished Compulsory Third Party (CTP) lawyer with more than three decades of insurance law experience, joins Meridian’s Sydney office as Practice Group Leader of the newly established CTP team.
Principal Scott Kennedy joins Meridian with 30 years’ experience, advising on coverage and indemnity disputes under professional indemnity, contract works and ISR policies, as well as litigated claims and recoveries. His experience also includes public and product liability claims, ranging from high volume attritional loss portfolios to class actions and catastrophic losses. Scott commences as Co-Practice Group Leader of Meridian’s General Insurance team.

The appointment of Andrew Gorman and Scott Kennedy, brings Meridian’s Principal Group to 30, with the addition of six Principals to the firm since April 2023 (Vid Dragomirovic, Matthew McDonald, Paul Garnon, and Benjamin Karalus, in addition to Andrew Gorman and Scott Kennedy).
